5000
Series Polymer Microsphere Suspensions
A range of polystyrene microspheres available
as 10% w/v suspensions in 15 or 100ml bottles.
Diameters range from 0.03µm to 3.2µm
and, for most of the range, the CV is 5% or less.
Density of the particles is 1.05 g/cm3
and refractive index 1.59 at 589nm.
7000
Series Copolymer Microsphere Suspensions
Large crosslinked copolymer (poly[styrene
divinyl benzene]) microspheres similar to Series
5000 but ranging in diameter from 3.2µm
to 220µm in fourteen different sizes. Physical
properties and pack sizes are as for 5000 Series.

New
- ChromoSphere
Coloured Microspheres

ChromoSphere
polymer microspheres are internally dyed with
deeply coloured red or black dyes giving them
very high contrast and visibility against most
backgrounds. They are supplied as dry powders
easily suspendable in liquid media and come in
seven different mean diameters from 50 to 500µm.
(All
the microspheres in the ChromoSpheres range are
also available as NIST-traceable certified size
standards. For more information, please click
this link ChromoSphere-T.)

Spherical
Polymer Materials (Dry)
A short series of broad size range polymer microspheres
supplied in dry powder form in quantities from
20 to 100 grams. Size ranges of the three available
products are 1 35µm, 100 500µm
and 250 750µm. Physical and chemical
properties are as for 5000 and 7000 Series.

Spherical
Glass Materials
These spherical glass beads have a density of
2.5g/cm3, refractive index of 1.51
at 589nm and a softening temperature of 7200C.
They are available in several sizes with moderately
broad size distributions. The smallest particles
in this seven-product range are 1 40µm
and the largest are 386 515µm.

Spherical
Pollens and Spores
These products provide model specimens for analysing
and controlling pollens and can be used as controls
for test systems or as models of biological cells.
They are packaged as dry powders and swell to
spherical shape after a few minutes immersion
in an aqueous solution.
