BI-DNDC Differential Refractometer
The BI-DNDC is a deflection type
refractometer which may be used in either static
or dynamic mode. In static mode, it is used to
determine the specific refractive index increment,
dn/dc, required in molecular weight determinations
by static light scattering. As such, it is an
invaluable accessory to light scattering systems
based on Brookhaven BI-200SM
Goniometer and BI-9000AT
Correlator.
In dynamic mode, the instrument can be used as
a concentration detector, for example in HPLC
or GPC/SEC applications. Brookhavens software
for Windows is supplied with the BI-DNDC.
